Welcome to the new home of the "Introduction to GPS Applications" site!

The original "Introduction to GPS Applications" site was created as a guest editorship for EINet's Galaxy, an internet web index service. The GPS site was formally opened in May, 1995. The site was moved to this location because of the impending demise of the Galaxy service in February, 1997. This new site includes a searchable index.

Introduction to GPS Applications (original)

This is the older version of the Intro to GPS Apps that has been posted on Tradewave/Galaxy since May '95. It has been relocated here because of the demise of the Galaxy service. It is not being maintained, and many of the links are stale. But it still contains much useful information and will be available until the new site is substantially complete.
